Visa Information

Afritech Business Summit will take place at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, from March 22 to 25, 2027. Please review the visa guidelines below to ensure a smooth trip.

Visa requirements

Côte d’Ivoire grants visa-free access to citizens of ECOWAS member states, including Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Mali, Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo, Niger, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cabo Verde, and The Gambia. Rwanda also benefits from visa-free entry under a bilateral agreement.

Citizens of the United States, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, and most other non-ECOWAS countries require a visa to enter Côte d’Ivoire. The most convenient option is the e-Visa, issued through the official SNEDAI platform.

All travelers must have a passport valid for at least 6 months, with at least 2 blank pages. Proof of accommodation, return ticket, and financial means may be required at entry.

If you need a visa

If your country is not visa-exempt, the e-Visa is the recommended route for most international visitors.

To obtain your e-Visa, please follow these steps:

Processing time: the e-Visa is typically issued within 48 hours and is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.

We still recommend applying 4 to 6 weeks in advance to allow for any delays.

Important: e-Visa holders must enter Côte d’Ivoire through Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (Port Bouet) in Abidjan, where biometric enrollment will be completed on arrival.

For longer stays or other visa categories, schedule an appointment at your nearest Ivorian embassy or consulate.
