Mission Statement

To accelerate innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation across Sub-Saharan Africa by connecting startups, investors, and public institutions through a major international trade show focused on emerging ecosystems and high-impact sectors.

The summit is built around ten priority sectors, organized in three tiers. Foundational technologies, cloud, AI, and cybersecurity, are the core enablers powering all digital innovation. Economic impact sectors, fintech, insurtech, and e-commerce, drive growth, inclusion, and market expansion. Societal and public impact sectors, edtech, medtech, agritech, and govtech, transform lives, communities, and public services. Together they create an environment for practical collaboration, deal-making, and knowledge exchange.

This mission is delivered through networking opportunities, startup pitch sessions, presentations by industry experts, interactive exhibitions of innovative products and services, and workshops and panel discussions on entrepreneurship and innovation, bringing together local and international startups, government representatives, institutions that support entrepreneurship, national and international media, and local, regional, and international investors.

The mission is built on three core priorities:
  • 1.Promote partnerships between startups, governments, and the private sector to unlock capital, mentorships, and global visibility.
  • 2. Enhance technical and leadership capabilities through workshops, expert panels, and applied learning opportunities.
  • 3. Deliver measurable outcomes in investment mobilization, policy reform, and infrastructure development.

Success will be measured by the number of strategic partnerships formed, investment deals facilitated, policy engagements initiated, the reach of media coverage, participant satisfaction, and long-term collaborations sustained after each edition. Each edition concludes with an analysis of media coverage, post-event feedback from participants, an assessment of the partnerships and investment opportunities generated, and a post-event report highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and lessons learned, followed by continuous engagement with partners, speakers, and participants to measure the real impact of the summit on the region’s entrepreneurial and technological progress.
